Sorry for the recent availability problems. Our upstream service provider is responsible, and I’m very unhappy at the level of service they’ve given us. I’ve just spoken to their network engineer, and he found our server powered-off! Despite my repeated calls to the help-desk, my direct phone call was the first he had heard of the problem!
Hopefully we should be OK from now on, but I’ve no way of guaranteeing that. I’m looking into alternative providers in case it happens again.

After Amelia’s excellent introduction to Welsh, here’s another Celtic language: Kernewek, the ancient language of Cornwall. (Yes, really). I hope to include some basic vocabulary (with a strong Druidical slant) and a quick look at the Cornish Revival and the Gorsedd of Bards of Conwall. Hilde has kindly volunteered to host the meeting.
Dha weles!

We did it! Thank you everyone for volunteering!
3 July: Canal boat trip! Amelia organising. Do go and check out the entry in Conversation, as we need to pre-book seats.
31 July: Lughnasadh. Hilde and Andrew organising.
21 August: Visit to Ankerwyke Yew. Daniel and Francesca organising.
18 September: Autumn Equinox. Anna and Hilde organising.
9 October: Ancestors Seedgroup. Lorraine and Hilde organising.
30 October: Samhain. Mark organising
To all organisers: please note that I need the details (times and places) on all these events – except Samhain – by 11 July so that I can prepare a paper Raven that covers Lughnasadh – October. Thanks again for helping out.

I know that a few of our members are there at the moment. Hopefully they will be able to tell all when we meet for the London Grove Beltain ceremony on Sunday… but just in case you are too wiped to make it, I would love to hear what the experience was like. Committing a week’s holiday when you only have four to dispose of is a big step, but I’m certain if you report positive experiences I will be able to plan to attend a camp some time in the next 12 months. So please, tell all!
