Trui sent this picture of the offerings we left after the Beltane ceremony. It was a beautiful spot, a beautiful ceremony, and a beautiful (and bio-degradable) offering of thanks.

Thank you Trui for this beautiful picture. Thank you also to everyone for the beauty of the Beltane ceremony. I haven’t quite got over the shock of being May Queen yet either. The power and awe and joy of it is still in me.

I went back to Hainault Forest today. It had rained the day before and the wood had that wonderful ‘green’ smell. The place where we did the ritual had a really good feel about it, and around the mouth of the stream there were many foxgloves blooming. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me…
