Hi all,
As you may know, Louise and I run the Friends of Belmont Rec, here in North East London. This year we’ve managed to raise some funds to plant some trees – 10 in all. The planting day is Saturday 26th November, beginning at 10.00.
If you haven’t planted a tree yet this year, then we’d love to see you. We’ve got apples, plums, birch and rowan I believe. (Our BTCV outreach officer has ordered them).
Belmont Rec is between Downhills Park Road, N17, and Hawke Park Road, N22 (North Circular and in on the A10). There is free parking in Downhills, or the nearest tube is Turnpike Lane on the Piccadilly. Mainline stations are Hornsey or Seven Sisters. Turnpike Lane bus depot is also close.
