Just a quick note to say that Julie is organising an Imbolc Ceremony for us on January 29th at Horsenden Hill (with a little help from me to print out copies). I have added it to Events already.

Directions:
It will take about 45 mins to walk to Camlet Moat from Cockfosters tube station.
Directions by Tube; Cockfosters, Piccadilly line. Turn right out of the station and walk a hundred yards or so the main gate of Trent Park. Follow the road into the park and find the cafe beside the car park. There should be a map of the park near the cafe to check your bearings. Between the cafe and the car park road there is a path into the woods. Follow it downhill through the woods to an open field where the path runs alongside a hedge. Where the hedge ends the path meets another, turn left downhill. Follow the path around to the right beside the lakes. Go right past them and follow the path straight up the hill into the woods ahead. At the top of the hill the path will fork. Take the left fork and follow it a hundred yards or so to another path junction where there is a wooden bench. Opposite the bench you will see a rough path up to a wooden fence. There is also a gate. Through the gate is the path to the moat.
If anyone is meeting at the cafe allow 25 – 30 mins walk up to the moat if you don’t know the way.
By car. Trent park is on the A111 between Potters Bar and Cockfosters.
Nearest car park to the moat is in Fernyy Hill rd, off cockfosters rd.
Not the main car park at the main entrance.
From Potters bar M25 Fernyy Hill is the first left. From the other direction is it first right after Cockfosters tube ( about a mile after). Ferny Hill has The West Lodge Park Hotel on the corner. As you drive up Fernyy hill you will see an obelisk in the field on your right. The North gate to the park is about 200 yards further on on the right. Park in one of the carparks and find a path back towards the obelisk, parallel to the road. Find the place where the path meets another and there is a wooden bench. Look on the right and you will see the gate and fence around the moat. Go through the gate and you will see noisy druids on the moat.
