Exit the station on platform 1 (Harrow exit) and cross the car park. Follow the street around the bend. Cross the little crossroads into Kings Way. Hilde’s house is the last one on the right with the blue door.

I’ve been thinking about the best way to do this. I don’t want it to be too didactic, nor to turn into me spouting on about what I think about Deity/ies the whole time, as we’re all bound to have different ideas anyway. What I’m planning so far is to say some basic things about pagan/druidic attitudes to Deity in general, to give us some jumping-off points for discussion, then talk (briefly!) about my own relationships with the Deities dear to my own heart – Mercury/Lugh, Brigid and Hecate – then open the floor for discussion. Does anyone have strong ideas about what they would like included? Does anyone want to talk about specific Deities? Let me know what you think!

I’d quite like it if we talked a bit about the relationships between Spirit and Deity, and also between Deity and creation.

I think if you just let everyone have a go at explaining their particular view of Deity, and then do a round of reactions/questions, you could fill a week…

All the above duly noted… I was wondering if we could also spend some time in silence at the end to commune with our own Spirits/Deities. Would people like this?

I think it’s a good idea. Always good to have something practical or ‘experiential’ if you’re doing a lot of talking…
