Hi all,
I seem to have been reviewing a few areas of my life lately that need changing. The recent Alban Eilir ritual seems to have helped bring some clarity about some things I need to let go of, curiously. I didn’t think it was supposed to be a Samhuinn ritual but there you go! One of those is my role as new member contact for the seedgroup. I have decided that this is one of the things I would like to let go of. I am getting a bit jaded and I think it might be better for both myself and the group if someone else stepped into those shoes. I also am feeling a much stronger pull to do solitary spiritual work recently – now you think I’d be able to do both easily with plenty of time on my hands, but the more involved I am with the seedgroup the less I tend to do by myself.
I am not planning to leave the group, but it may turn out that I am less involved in it over the next year than I was over the last couple of years. I hope there is someone else in the seedgroup who would like to take the member contact job on for a while. I will of course continue for the moment, but I may set a cut-off date eventually if no-one steps forward.
I might send this out as a group email too soon, but will just post it here for now.

Hey everybody!
‘Mani’ from the PF in London rang me (London’s other great OBOD recluse) to ask if I’d like to organise the PF’s Summer Solstice Open Ritual at Conway Hall. They want a Druid theme this year.
Would anyone like to take this on?
The contact details are Mani at the PF in London, home number (020) 8647 2365 or email info@pflondon.org where he will pick up any messages.
If you’ve not been to one before, give me a a call.

The events calendar is at the moment less well-filled than we hoped it would be. We have no confirmed ceremonies for Lughnasadh or the Winter Solstice.
If you are reading this post, and you haven’t organised anything for a while, please consider volunteering for these. You can post a comment or get in touch with Daniel (020 8771 6941) or Hilde (07768 377 646).

Please note this is a Saturday.
Our Beltane ceremony will be organised by Francesca and Daniel. It will be at 2pm on Saturday 29th April at Dulwich Sydenham Hill Woods. The nearest stationmis Sydenham Hill (see below for transportinformation). We will meet in the station car park on the College Road side of the station (same side as the train arrives on when coming from Victoria). Please phone Daniel (020 8771 6941) a few days in advance or post on The Raven if you are coming along.
Afterwards, we will proceed to the nearby Dulwich Wood House pub if people would like to.
Map of the area:
Transport:
Train from Victoria main line station to Sydenham Hill. These trains end up at Orpington (which may help you find them on the board at Victoria). According to the timetable, they leave Victoria at 22 and 52 minutes past the hour, taking 13 minutes to get to Sydenham Hill. So the 13.52 from Victoria gets there at 14.05. For the adventurous among you, the train can also be caught from Brixton (main line) or Herne Hill.
Return train times are 01 and 31 minutes past the hour from Sydenham Hill.
