Planning Meeting for 2007

Filed under: Conversation — Elizabeth @ 9:15 am

I thought our meeting at Queen Elizabeth Hall yesterday (25th November) was very positive. Thank you Daniel for incubating it. The egg produced several fledglings and a few new eggs as well. I’m inspired by the idea of producing a piece of textile art for the Tameisis Seedgroup, for example.

Welcome to Chris, and I hope you’ll be able to bring your guitar and whistle to rituals Chris. (Or have I imagined the whistle?)

Our impromptu invocation of the river created a fitting conclusion to the afternoon. Some of us remembered standing in the same place on the Charing Cross Millenium Bridge in the bright light of late summer. Yesterday it was twilight, the river in full flood. I was sad that I couldn’t hear all the invoacations and blessings. There were the sirens and engine noise of boats, conversation of passers-by, the rumble of trains and the solitary saxophonist whose music distracted me. But the river has always been freighted with busyness and business so this was only fitting and I hope our lady of the river heard each one of us.

So, gods, goddesses and devas willing we will meet again in various configurations in 2007. Blessings and love to you all as we approach the solstice.

Events calendar updated

I have added all the events to the calendar. If you are organising something, please go to your event (click on ‘Events’ above or browse through the calendar on the right) and see if you agree with the date and starting time in particular. If you want to change anything, or add more detail to your event, please add it as a comment or e-mail me.

It is good to have the details completed for the three upcoming events that are listed under the calendar in the right hand column, so if you’re organising one of them, please let me have those as soon as you can.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered to organise something. Your contribution is very important to our group and much appreciated.
