<description>As I am doing exams at the moment, I do not have much time to write about anything else. And I really should not have gone to camp - I should have studied. But going was all worth it - the atmosphere was phantastic, and working with the Beltaine energy in a closed group was even better. I have got such a better feeling now for what Beltaine is really about, it was all a bit foggy before. But being there, feeling the energy, and feeling why this ritual is done makes all the difference to me.

I could feel it in the Beltaine ritual we did on the Sunday in London: It suddenly held a much bigger meaning than it had the year before, though the ritual in itself was nearly identical.

And yes, I know it is a big sacrifice as far as holidays go, but as for me: I decided to shorten my Summer holiday to save a few days so I can go to the Samhain Camp - it definitely is worth it. And I no longer worry about being cold, even in October: The heating is great in the yurts...
