Hi all,
I seem to have been reviewing a few areas of my life lately that need changing. The recent Alban Eilir ritual seems to have helped bring some clarity about some things I need to let go of, curiously. I didn’t think it was supposed to be a Samhuinn ritual but there you go! One of those is my role as new member contact for the seedgroup. I have decided that this is one of the things I would like to let go of. I am getting a bit jaded and I think it might be better for both myself and the group if someone else stepped into those shoes. I also am feeling a much stronger pull to do solitary spiritual work recently – now you think I’d be able to do both easily with plenty of time on my hands, but the more involved I am with the seedgroup the less I tend to do by myself.
I am not planning to leave the group, but it may turn out that I am less involved in it over the next year than I was over the last couple of years. I hope there is someone else in the seedgroup who would like to take the member contact job on for a while. I will of course continue for the moment, but I may set a cut-off date eventually if no-one steps forward.

Really sorry to hear you are stepping down, Lorraine, but I completely understand. You have been so helpful and welcoming in introducing me to the group (sorry I have not made the last couple of meetings but I intend to come for Beltaine). I think you have done an excellent job, but it is sensible to hand over if you are feeling jaded. I hope someone else will step up into the role.. I would be happy to do it, but I am not sure if my intermittent attendance at meetings would preclude me from this role.. Anyway, best wishes on your path and hopefully I will see you at Beltaine.
