Thank you for that, that would be appreciated and I hope you can make it. It has been a long time since I read the Jack Gale booklet so I refreshed myself with it briefly over the weekend. My memory had distorted things and so I was under the impression that 'the temple' WAS known to be a roman temple of Diana, but rereading it I found that it was, as you say, 'gnosis' on the part of Jack Gale. The same way I was sure I had read that the 'Motherstone' had been taken from 'Kits Coty House' on Bluebell Hill, but again on rereading I found that the stone had 'been taken from the same area of Kent' and again this is a supposition made by gnosis. Hohum.

I do not intend to do much research as my plan is to compare Jack Gale's impressions and gnoses of the area with ours and see what we come up with. I have always wanted to go around the Park with others to see what they come up with.

Hope to see you there and hope you are keeping well and my best to Daniel.

I've spent a lot of time around the park before, particularly at the 'Motherstone' and 'Holda' areas. I was only there last weekend and spent a little time at the remains of the Roman Temple - I wonder if it is known to be a temple to Diana or whether it is just personal gnosis on Jack Gale's part, but either way it is interesting. If I come along I'll try to remember to bring along another of Jack Gale's books (Goddesses, Guardians and Groves) and a printout of a hymn to Diana, if I find a translation which isn't utterly cheesy. I think Daniel has to work that day so it's a matter whether I can work out the public transport.
