Greetings from Andrew

I would like to hold this years Beltane Ceremony on 10th May deep in the woods and on the high hill near to Box Hill. It is close to a place called the Druids Grove and there are many ancient yew trees. The mainline station destination will be `Boxhill and Westhumble Station' at 2pm. I and anyone else who may be driving can ferry people to the nearby car park up on the hill in the woods. From there we will walk into the woods to the site.

I am writing some ritual and we will need four quarters and in addition three roles, The Goddess/Maid, the / Green man / Lord of the
forest and a Herald (if necessary a quarter could also double as the Herald) so please if anyone would like to volunteer in advance please let me know. If not we can sort it out in the woods. These roles involve taking part in a short poem towards the end.

I may be wrong but I have a premonition of dripping water off spring sprouting twigs in the wood! Never mind! The rain that falls from our hats will soak into the deep pure chalk to emerge in the Spring line at Ewell and become the Hogsmill, and thence flow after many songs and stories into the mighty Thames! Please can everyone bring a small piece of wood to become part of the Beltane fire?

Tea and Cake at my house after if anyone can stay – West Ewell mainline station is 5 mins away.
